Robotic Plasma Cutting Machine Operator (PythonX)
Who We Are
Trevco Steel Ltd. is a family owned and operated steel fabrication company based out of Erin, Ontario. Since 2004, we have provided contractors and developers with a variety of steel fabrication and installation services.
We are currently seeking a full-time Robotic Plasma Cutting Machine Operator (PythonX) to become a member of our day shift team. Trevco Steel Ltd. ensures its employees a work environment that is safe, secure and consistent all while being both challenging and rewarding.
Who You Are
- Have 1-2 years of experience with an overhead crane with current certification considered an asset.
- Have experience working with steel and material handling.
- Comfortable and familiar with computers and their operation.
- Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.
- The ability to work well and communicate with others.
- The ability to work independently.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organization skills, problem solving, integrity, and task prioritization.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Consistently and reliably work scheduled hours.
What You Do
- Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot robotic plasma cutter.
- Move steel and material with overhead crane and corresponding attachments.
- Read and understand fabrication drawings.
- Monitor the plasma cutter throughout operation to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Verify completed parts against specifications on drawings.
- Perform and document quality inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Your Schedule
Day Shift
Full-time day shift working hours are 9 hours per shift Monday to Thursday and 8 hours per shift on Friday for a total of 44 hours per week.
Monday-Thursday: 6:00am-3:30pm
Friday: 6:00am-2:30pm
Saturday-Sunday: Off
