We are currently seeking an IT Business Analyst – Supply Chain Systems who can be nice, will seek inspiration from our roots, can commit to achieving results the right way and loves to think big to join us on our journey. The IT Business Analyst – Supply Chain Systems will report to the Manager, Supply Chain Systems and be responsible to provide process and system support to our business users.
The IT Business Analyst – Supply Chain Systems for Roots will be responsible for and evaluated on the following:
Participating in the investigation and analysis of specific business requirements and user needs
Taking part in the delivery of suitable solutions according to agreed specifications that add business value to products and services within budget and time constraints
Working through the implementation of upgraded or new software or hardware
Executing and supporting various levels of application testing
Completing application quality assurance for system modification/software upgrade
Updating and implementing operational procedures through projects or support to ensure smooth operation and acceptable performance
Leading the training of the DC operations personnel through projects or support
Top candidates for the IT Business Analyst – Supply Chain Systems role will have the following:
Post-secondary Education, preferably in business or applied computer science
3 – 5 years’ of experience in developing and maintaining medium to large size scaled business systems
Proficiency in HighJump One WMS or other WMS (Warehouse Management System)
Familiarity with supporting various interfaces from and to WMS
Familiarity with supporting WCS (Warehouse Control System)
Knowledge of warehouse/supply chain functions and processes
Knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) configuration and solutions. Experience with setup, mapping, testing, onboarding new vendors, troubleshooting, etc.)
Ability to find innovative solutions to meet identified business needs
Exposure to supporting and troubleshooting multiple integrated solutions
Excellent computer related and developmental skills, with the ability to learn new software
Advanced technical skills and documentation skills
Basic to intermediate SQL query-writing skills
