Position Overview
The Site Services Operator is responsible for supporting daily field and logistics operations across multiple project sites throughout Calgary and surrounding areas. This role involves the safe operation of company vehicles, trailers, and equipment while assisting with material transportation, site servicing, waste removal, equipment relocation, and general site support activities.
The successful candidate will operate various towing configurations including bumper pull trailers, gooseneck trailers, and roll-off bin systems while maintaining a strong focus on safety, professionalism, customer service, and operational efficiency.
This role is ideal for individuals who are experienced drivers, comfortable working in construction environments, and capable of adapting to changing project and operational requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
Transportation & Logistics
- Safely operate company trucks and towing units
- Transport materials, equipment, tools, and supplies to and from jobsites
- Operate bumper pull trailers, gooseneck trailers, and roll-off bin systems
- Perform site deliveries, pickups, and material relocations
- Assist with fleet movement and equipment transportation between sites
- Ensure loads are properly secured and compliant with transportation requirements
- Maintain accurate delivery and equipment movement records
Site Support Operations
- Support active construction and service sites as required
- Deliver and exchange site service equipment and materials
- Assist with general labour and operational support when required
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional company vehicles and equipment
- Assist with yard organization and material staging
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections
- Report vehicle defects, incidents, damages, or maintenance concerns immediately
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices
- Complete FLHAs, inspections, and required documentation
- Ensure compliance with Alberta transportation and OHS requirements
- Operate vehicles and equipment safely in varying weather and site conditions
- Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training as required
- Maintain professional conduct while representing Total Site Supplies at customer and project locations
Skills & Qualifications
Required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
- Experience towing trailers in construction or commercial environments
- Comfortable operating:
- Bumper pull trailers
- Gooseneck trailers
- Roll-off bin systems (preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong awareness of jobsite safety and hazard recognition
- Physically capable of lifting, loading, securing, and moving materials
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable
Preferred
- Class 1 or Class 3 license considered an asset
- Experience in construction, site services, or equipment transportation
- Equipment operation experience considered an asset
- Knowledge of Calgary and surrounding areas
- Valid safety certifications (CSTS, First Aid, Fall Protection, etc.)

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
