About the Role
Alpha One Business Services is hiring confident and motivated Customer Engagement Associates for a field-based fibre optic infrastructure project.
In this role, you will visit assigned neighbourhoods and speak directly with homeowners to obtain permission for a free fibre optic connection to their property.
There is no selling, no customer cost, and no service commitment involved. Your role is to explain the project clearly, answer basic questions, and collect homeowner consent using a company-provided iPad.
This is an excellent opportunity for people who enjoy working outdoors, meeting new people, and earning based on performance.
What You Will Do
- Visit assigned residential neighbourhoods and speak with homeowners face-to-face.
- Clearly explain the benefits of fibre optic infrastructure.
- Inform homeowners that the connection is free, with no hidden cost or service obligation.
- Obtain permission from homeowners or authorized decision-makers.
- Complete consent forms accurately using company-provided iPads.
- Maintain clear daily records of interactions and permissions collected.
- Report daily progress to the team lead.
- Represent the company in a professional, polite, and respectful manner.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Comfortable with door-to-door field outreach.
- Confident, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
- Professional, reliable, and well-presented.
- Able to work independently in assigned territories.
- Must be available to work at least 4 days per week.
- Must be available for a minimum of 5 hours of field presence per working day.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle for daily field work.
- Must have access to a smartphone.
- Sales, customer service, or field experience is an asset, but not required.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
