Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Driver to operate roll-off trucks and day cab trucks with step deck trailers. This role requires a professional driver with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy lifting and driving large commercial vehicles, ensuring timely and secure transportation of materials. Responsibilities
- Safely operate roll-off trucks, day cab trucks, and step deck trailers to transport materials to various locations.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed during loading and unloading processes, ensuring proper handling of cargo.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and deliveries.
- Ensure the secure loading and unloading of materials, utilizing appropriate equipment when necessary.
- Keep assigned vehicles clean and well-maintained to promote safety and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating roll-off trucks, day cabs, or similar large commercial vehicles.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading activities.
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to traffic laws.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently in various weather conditions and environments.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and material handling is preferred.
This position is essential for maintaining efficient operations while prioritizing safety standards across all transportation activities.
Pay: $22.00-$36.00 per hour
