Position Overview:
We’re seeking a proactive and organized Project Coordinator to support our Quality Control, Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs team. This role serves as a critical liaison, ensuring smooth project coordination and alignment. You’ll work closely with both the Quality and Operations teams to explore and uncover creative solutions to business challenges, manage the day-to-day workflow, and guide all projects toward quality excellence. This is a Hybrid position, with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. Primarily office-based, with occasional visits to laboratory or production areas as needed.
Reporting to the Department Lead, you will share responsibility for keeping projects on track, adjusting plans as needed, and ensuring seamless communication across departments. This role involves managing projects, tracking timelines and resources, and fostering collaboration to meet quality standards and deadlines. You’ll be hands-on from project inception to final deliverables, actively supporting both the strategic and creative processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Workflow Management
- Support the Department Lead in managing and tracking project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives and support successful execution.
- Adjust project plans as required to adapt to evolving priorities and business needs, coordinating closely with internal teams.
Quality Control & Assurance Support
- Assist in monitoring and documenting quality metrics and regulatory compliance to meet both internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Help document, organize, and help develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality documentation.
- Act as a “gatekeeper” for project documents, ensuring accuracy, proper distribution, and security.
- Assist with the organization and submission of documents for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Process Improvement, Regulatory Affairs Support & Continuous Learning
- Participate in initiatives to streamline workflows and improve departmental processes.
- Stay informed on industry regulations and trends, applying this knowledge to enhance project management and quality practices.
- Assist with the organization and submission of documents for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Health/Life Sciences, Business, Quality Control/Regulatory Affairs
- Minimum of 2 years in a project coordination role, ideally within pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, manufacturing setting
- Background in Natural Health, Nutrition, or Naturopathy and experience with supplement formulas is beneficial.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., Health Canada, NHP, NPN) is a plus.
- Certifications in project management an asset (eg., CAPM, PMP), or working towards.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
