Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Steel Roof / Siding Installer to join our construction team. This role involves installing durable roofing and siding materials on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, carpentry, and the use of hand tools, with a strong focus on precision and safety.
Duties
- Measure and interpret blueprints to determine material requirements and installation procedures
- Install steel roofing panels and siding according to project specifications and safety guidelines
- Use hand tools such as drills, hammers, and saws to cut, shape, and secure materials
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation processes
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and energy efficiency
- Read blueprints accurately to ensure proper placement and alignment of materials
- Assist with site preparation, including framing, leveling, and surface preparation as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or handyman work with a focus on roofing or siding installation
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools required for the job
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and working at heights or on scaffolding
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing applications
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and commitment to quality workmanship
- Prior experience with blueprint reading is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is a plus

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
