We are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Automotive Painter to take charge of our paint department and maintain our high standards of excellence.

Responsibilities
- Paint Application: Operate spray booths and equipment to apply primers, base coats, and clear coats to a variety of vehicles according to factory specifications.
- Colour Matching: Accurately mix, blend, and match water-based or solvent paints to ensure perfect colour consistency.
- Quality Control: Inspect prepped panels for defects, sand scratches, or dust prior to spraying; rectify any finish imperfections post-bake (buffing/polishing).
- Efficiency: Collaborate closely with the body repair department and preppers to ensure smooth, efficient vehicle workflow.
- Maintenance: Clean and maintain spray guns, booths, and mixing equipment, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Painter in a collision repair or dealership environment.
- Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with modern water-based paint systems, solvent paint and color-matching technology.
- Licensing: Automotive Painter/Refinisher Certification (e.g., 310B in Ontario) is highly preferred, but equivalent verified experience will be considered.
- Attributes: A sharp eye for detail, strong time-management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday (Day shift)
