Artemis Gold is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with a strong financial capacity aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining-friendly jurisdictions. The Company's current focus is the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver. Reporting to the Supervisor – Maintenance, the HD Mechanic is responsible performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment in the mining industry. Supports the Maintenance department's efforts to ensure the reliability and performance of mining equipment.
Location: Blackwater Mine site
Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On – Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation

Qualifications:
Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.- Heavy Duty Mechanic Red Seal Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation
- Comfortable working and living in close quarters with the team
- Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift
- Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from colleagues, supervisors and superintendents.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- CAT training and experience would be highly regarded.
