We are seeking a dedicated Construction Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety standards at construction sites, ensuring that the environment is tidy and compliant with safety regulations. Duties
- Remove debris, dust, and waste from construction sites to maintain a safe and organized workspace
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, tools, and equipment used during construction activities
- Ensure all areas are free of hazards by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of temporary facilities such as restrooms or storage areas
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate cleaning schedules around ongoing work
- Perform routine inspections to identify areas needing additional cleaning or maintenance
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques suitable for construction environments is a plus
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and dependability as key attributes
- Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear at all times.
Pay rate - $17.60 - $18.50
Location - Mississauga
Timings - 10am to 10pm (Monday to Sunday)
Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
