General Labour / Shipper Receiver – Counterbalance Forklift
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $26–$28/hour
Better Together Group is looking for an experienced General Labour / Shipper Receiver to join a busy metal profiling company. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of counterbalance forklift experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities
Operate a counterbalance forklift to safely move and stage metal materials
Load and unload trucks and trailers
Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials
Prepare and stage orders for shipment
Pick, pack, and move materials throughout the facility
Assist with general labour and production duties as required
Verify quantities and shipping documents
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements
Requirements
5+ years of counterbalance forklift experience
Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
Comfortable working around metal products and in an industrial environment
Able to perform physical work, including lifting and moving materials
Good attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions
