Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of bringing building projects to life by assisting with a variety of tasks on-site. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment under supervision to perform tasks such as digging, lifting, and material handling
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work as needed for various structures
- Support carpentry tasks including framing, cabinet installation, and drywall installation
- Apply caulking, painting, flooring installation, tile laying, and electrical experience to contribute to finishing work
- Assist with plumbing and restoration projects by following technical instructions and safety protocols
Skills
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Basic understanding of construction estimating and project timelines
- Experience in carpentry, concrete finishing, masonry, welding, or flooring installation is a plus
- Knowledge of construction safety procedures and protocols
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
