Position Summary
As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing your station while maintaining the highest culinary standards. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to execute refined tasting menus that celebrate the best seasonal products from Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute dishes with consistency and precision.
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Assist with daily prep, mise en place, and inventory management.
- Butcher, fabricate, and prepare seafood, meat, and vegetables.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during service.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
- Contribute creative ideas for menu development and seasonal changes.
- Mentor junior cooks and foster a positive team culture.
Qualifications
- Previous fine dining experience preferred.
- Strong knife skills and classical cooking techniques.
- Passion for local ingredients and seasonal cuisine.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
- Professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
