The selected candidate will be responsible for testing parts in the characterization lab, creating setup in the lab, evaluate results. The candidate must possess hand on experience with signal generator, network analyzer, multimeter, signal analyzer, power meter, etc.
This position is for the night shift working 11:00pm - 7:30am Sunday to Thursday.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, and setup modification.
- Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions.
- Assist in determining methods for time reduction.
- Building RF test setups and harnesses
- Perform RF tests, evaluating standard RF devices, including but not limited to amplifiers, filters, coupler, etc.
- Associate Degree preferred
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with test equipment: multi-meter, Oscilloscope, Signal Generators, Power meter, etc.
- 6+ Years of Related Experience
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to understand schematics and diagrams
- Must have a team-oriented attitude, accountability, and ownership
- Preferred: Proficiency in bench-level troubleshooting electronics equipment
- Basic understanding of RF Technology
The typical base pay range for this role is currently CAD $28.56 - $42.98 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, and the ultimate job duties and requirements.
