Hedge King / Tree King is a full-service Ottawa Hedge and Tree service company serving the Ottawa area and we are looking for an office assistant to join our team! The position is 40-45 hours per week with a year-long contract. Yearly contract will be at $55,000 with two weeks paid vacation. Our office is located near Train Yards.

The successful candidate must have at least 2 years experience in office admin work and must be able to pick up new software very quickly. We are looking for someone who can learn our email and CRM system easily. Candidate must also be able to juggle multiple streams of information as they will be managing both Hedge King and Tree King clients.

Start date must be sometime during the week of July 4th.

Office receptionists will carry out the following functions as part of their employment:

  • Devote 100% effort and attention while working throughout the entire day
  • Diligently manage office by answering and responding to customer email inquiries
  • Answering calls politely and professionally with exceptional customer service in mind at all times
  • Create, update, and maintain lead and customer information every time employee communicates with a customer
  • Input any notes as needed, update fields as needed, and track and record metrics and job milestones
  • Responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations (successfulness of the office by means of customer communication and efficiency as well as customer satisfaction)

Skills Required:

  • Confident in answering telephone calls and responding to client requests – in a friendly, professional manner
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated and willingness to do what is necessary for the company
  • Attention to detail
  • Friendly and outgoing personality – good with clients – both adults and children
  • Anticipate problems and seek solutions ahead of time
  • Comfortable delegating tasks and making sure all jobs are completed properly

Salary: From $28.00 per hour
