You might know us best for some of our social brands: Diply Facts!, Aunty Acid, Crafty and Mommy Needs Vodka. We are currently looking for a Supervising Video Producer that is a fountain of creativity, with a deep understanding of social video best practices, as well as lifestyle and entertainment content. Reporting to the Director of Video, you’ll be spearheading the direction of all our video productions from brand-new ideas to the final product. You will also be encouraging a culture of innovation, growth and performance that stays at the forefront of the ever-changing and always exciting social media video landscape.
You’re great for this role if...
You have a Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in journalism, communications, television, film or related field of study;
You also have 5 or more years’ hands-on experience in video production (experience working with talent is a big plus!), and at least 2 years’ experience managing creative people in general;
You have a deep understanding of video production for social media, as well as optimization best practices across the leading social platforms;
You have demonstrated success developing digital series from concept to delivery;
You’re constantly full of new, innovative and creative ideas that meets the all-important audience traffic and engagement goals;
You have an ability to, and passion for, bringing out & nurturing your team’s creative abilities & ideas
So, what will you be doing?
Overseeing the entire video content pipeline for all of Diply’s brands - from ideation and development, through to production and publishing;
Managing a team of video producer-editors that are tasked with creating social video for Snapchat, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram as well as various other emerging platforms and formats;
Supporting ideation of all new series, formats and episodes in collaboration with our Creative Strategy team in order to drive video innovation and business growth;
Supervising all video shoots and edits, and working closely with the Video Production Manager to bring projects in on schedule and within budget.
