Ritewall Limited is a drywall company specializing in institutional, commercial, and industrial (ICI) construction.
We are currently seeking an experienced Leadhand to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and will possess strong skills in drywall installation, framing, and boarding.
You will be required to have a valid G driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle for transportation to various job sites.
Sites will be located within the GTA and surrounding areas, with some potential for remote and/or out of town work.
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Strong knowledge of steel stud framing and drywall systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings accurately
- Experience with layout work and site measurements
- Skilled in hanging and finishing gypsum board
- Experience installing T-bar ceilings and insulation
- Ability to supervise and manage a crew of 2–4 workers efficiently
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate work schedules and keep projects on schedule
- Knowledge of commercial construction practices and safety standards
- Ability to identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently
- Ensure quality workmanship and maintain company standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and crew members
- Physically capable of performing demanding construction work when required
- Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented
