Attabotics has moved to a quarterly release cadence, we have completed our ISO 9001 evaluation and will new features and performance improvements through software. The DevOps Architect is the flywheel to fuel our increased release cadence and efficiency.
Reporting to the Director, Software Solutions, your mission will be to evolve a rapid, automated, secure, and efficient development culture. As an expert in the DevOps field, you will design, document, build, configure, secure and support infrastructure for our server-side and cloud software. Your focus will be on uptime, scalability, automation, and rapid code deployment.
Who you are
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant industry experience
Experience as a DevOps Architect (or similar role) managing large-scale highly available production environments
Experience building server side, cloud, and edge-based solutions
Expertise with DevOps principles, CI/CD tools and platforms, code evaluation and security
Experience in managing Azure DevOps or TFS
Strong scripting, and automation skills
Familiarity with in-cluster traffic shaping / management
Proficient with git and git workflows
Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools
Experience with C#/.NET, Microservices, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes
Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, project management, leadership, and teamwork skills
Nice to Have
Advance Azure Certifications
Experience with cloud-native architecture and technologies (CNCF certification is a plus).
Knowledgeable about industry trends and deployment patterns
What we need
Participate & coach a cross-functional team that is responsible for optimizing our software development life cycle. Coach the team on best practices and the latest technologies.
Partner with team to identify goals and develop measures/KPIs that will drive pipeline continuous improvement
Establish robust and high-performing CI/CD pipeline to speed up software development. Design and implement automation for deployments.
Support infrastructure as code, identify security best practices and access management.
Collaborate and advise the team regarding new tool selection. Serve as the SME for tools that facilitate development, testing, monitoring, integration/release, and agile practices
Provision and manage applications in virtualized or container-based platforms
Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
Monitor system health and establish appropriate alerting thresholds and response procedures (app insights, centralized logging, auto healing)
Troubleshoot and quickly resolve production issues. Own root cause analysis and implement development process/culture/technical best practice improvements.
Develop an understanding of the infrastructure footprint of existing .NET applications and help evolve to (where it makes sense) to open system design patterns
