Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking applications for Carpentry Labourers for long-term work at our project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Moving office furniture inter office
Dismantling office cubicles
Assisting carpenter with levelling trailers with blocking
Patching damaged drywall
Assist with drywall installation
Demolition of interior trailer wall and clean up
Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean or protect them.
Follow instructions from crew lead hand and foreman.
Working both indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions
Keep work areas and equipment clean and safe.
The successful candidate should possess the following skills/attributes:
To be considered for this position you must have experience with commercial construction as a carpenter labourer
The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
Able to work with your hands and safely operate power tools and equipment run by gasoline, diesel, electricity, and compressed air
Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
Must be organized and self-driven
Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
You must have the following:
Driver’s License Class 5 (NO GDL)
Reliable transportation - you will need to drive to and from site. No travel allowance or LOA
