Parklane Pool & Spa is growing and we're looking for a Service Technician to join our team.
Whether you're an experienced pool and hot tub technician, a licensed tradesperson, an apprentice, or simply someone who is mechanically inclined and enjoys solving problems, we'd like to hear from you.
This is a hands-on role working with hot tubs, swimming pools, pool equipment, BBQs, cold plunges, and related systems throughout Kamloops and the surrounding area.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair hot tubs, pools, and related equipment
- Perform equipment installations and upgrades
- Conduct routine maintenance and seasonal service
- Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and control system issues
- Complete service reports and communicate clearly with customers
- Deliver exceptional customer service on every visit
- Work independently and as part of a supportive team
Who We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you have experience in:
- Electrical
- Gasfitting
- HVAC/Refrigeration
- Plumbing
- Appliance repair
- Automotive repair
- Millwright or industrial maintenance
- Mechanical service or equipment repair
- Pool and hot tub service
Don't have direct industry experience? That's okay.
If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy troubleshooting, work well with customers, and are eager to learn, we are willing to train the right person.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to lift and move equipment as required
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your schedule
