Production Associate – Wire Assembly | Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm | $17.60/hr

- Pay: $17.60 per hour to start
- Overtime: $26.40/hr after 44 hours per week
- Vacation pay: 4% paid out weekly
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- No weekends. No rotating shifts.

This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position with a clear pathway to permanent employment and long-term career advancement for candidates who perform and show up consistently.
What you will be doing
You will be responsible for assembling wires, producing wire harnesses and cable assemblies, and ensuring all work meets quality and production standards. Your role is critical to the daily output of the facility and requires precision, good hands, and a strong work ethic.
- Assemble wires accurately according to blueprints and work orders
- Produce wire harnesses and cable assemblies to specification
- Set up and operate hand tools and machinery for wire assembly
- Perform quality checks to ensure components meet company standards
- Meet daily production targets with a focus on quality and precision
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Collaborate with your team to flag and resolve process issues
What we are looking for
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of experience in production, assembly, order-picking, or a similar hands-on role
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to read and follow blueprints or work order instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work at a consistent pace in a fast-moving environment
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Certifications required (must have or be able to obtain before start)
- Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps
- WHMIS certificate with a minimum score of 70%
- Safety footwear and safety glasses required on day one
