Qualifications:
3-5 years of proven success in the B2B Corporate Sales environment.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science or Business
Track record with Municipal Information Systems, or selling into government
Self-starter – proactively pursue self-instruction on all relevant technical topics.
Proven record of meeting sales quotas
Experience and success cold calling and developing new business
Fluency with Technical Requirements and Needs Analysis
Experienced in enterprise sales and sales cycles
Success writing customer proposals and presentations to all levels of executive leadership
Knowledge of Geospatial Industry or mapping platforms would be an asset.

Core duties:
Identify and acquire new customers via cold calling, prospecting and developing new business
Advance opportunities through the use of effective consultative selling techniques.
Meet and exceed sales targets.
Develop a firm understanding of the technology, services and software solutions.
Execute on the Sales Plan based on current solution offerings
Provide accurate reporting and updates in existing CRM
Provide competitive news and market research as needed.
Manage the sector as if it is your own business
Provide outstanding customer support and satisfaction

Works with:
Manager of Business Development to align corporate vision with Sales and Marketing Objectives
Delivery and Post Sales team to ensure that a support system is in place to drive customer service excellence and quality assurance
Project delivery team to administrate contract obligations, budgets, vendor coordination, and negotiate contracts.
