We are looking for a responsible, caring animal lover to join our team as an Kennel Technician with apprentice training opportunities. Those with or without experience are welcome to apply as we will provide in-depth training. Many of the dogs we work with are in training for aggression and/or extreme anxiety, therefore applicants must be comfortable handling dogs with a variety of temperaments and sizes. Daily kennel duties including:
- Cleaning and maintaining the kennels
- Preparing and feeding dogs' their meals and any necessary medication
- Keeping water buckets full and clean
- Walking/ playing with the dogs
- Providing bathing services if necessary
- Light laundry duties (dog towels and blankets only when needed)
Due to the potential risk factors of this position please be a minimum of 18 years of age to apply. Please note this is a physically demanding job.
Drivers License and reliable transportation necessary
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
