Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various commercial facilities. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment, ensuring spaces are safe, hygienic, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Applicants should be reliable, efficient, and committed to high-quality work.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, lobbies, and other designated areas within commercial buildings
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to meet cleanliness standards
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and other surfaces as needed
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper
- Follow established safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to the scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes
Skills
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the field
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners effectively
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols in a commercial setting
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or completing documentation as required
