Job Summary
The Server is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional service to guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience from arrival to departure.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.
- Present menus, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address concerns promptly.
- Process guest payments and complete transactions accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, promotions, and beverage offerings.
- Set up, clean, and reset tables to maintain a welcoming dining environment.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bussers, and other team members to ensure efficient service.
- Assist in other Food & Beverage outlets as assigned.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Outgoing, courteous, and friendly.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be able to work a minimum up to 4+ days per week.
- Flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous serving, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards.
- Experience with POS systems is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues as needed.
- Ability to remain professional and positive under pressure.
- Pro Serve certification (or willingness to obtain, where required) is considered an asset.
