At DXP/HSE Integrated, we provide training to prepare you for the core responsibilities of a Safety Watch, as well as the opportunity to earn valuable industrial certifications.
Job Summary
The primary responsibilities of this position is to monitor the safety conditions inside and around the confined space, maintaining communication with the workers inside and initiating the emergency response plan if needed.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Safety Watch position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Strong English communication skills are essential in this role (both verbal and written).

Good vision and hearing to effectively monitor worksite conditions.

Physically capable of performing tasks including:
-
Working at heights and/or climbing ladders.
-
Entering and working in confined spaces.
-
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
-
Pushing/pulling tools and objects.
-
Sitting and driving.
-
Bending, kneeling, and crouching.
-
Standing and walking for long periods.
-
Working in adverse weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind).
-
Working 8–12 hour shifts (flexibility for extended shifts based on client requirements).
Confined Space Rescue Technician’s responsibilities
-
Facilitate rescue in the event of an incident
-
Development and communication of site-specific rescue plans
-
Inspect and maintain all rescue equipment on daily basis and complete all applicable documentation
-
Perform atmospheric testing, pre-entry and continuous
-
Ability to follow support hierarchy
-
Ability to work away from home for project duration
-
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work in and contribute to a team environment, with a willingness to learn and grow with us

Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
Required Certifications & Training
All candidates must successfully complete the following:

Confined Space Entry, Attendant & Rescue training
- Standard First Aid
-
Fall Protection (ESC)
-
H2S Alive (ESC)
-
Common Safety Orientation (CSO – ESC)
Candidate Qualifications:

Drug & Alcohol Testing (Provided by HSE)
-
Health & Safety Orientation (Provided by HSE)
Additional training and certifications may be required to meet client-specific requirements.
