Budtender (Delivery Opportunities Available)
Location: Holland Daze – Markham & Steeles, Markham, ON
Job Type: Part-time / Full-time
Compensation: $17.60–$20.00/hour
About Holland Daze
Holland Daze is a modern cannabis retailer focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience through technology, education, and outstanding service. Unlike traditional dispensaries, customers browse and order using our interactive iPad kiosk while our Budtenders guide them through the experience and ensure full compliance with AGCO and OCS regulations.
We're looking for great people—not just cannabis knowledge. If you're friendly, reliable, confident with customers, and eager to learn, we'll teach you the rest.
Qualified employees may also have the opportunity to work Budtender + Delivery shifts. Delivery shifts are assigned on a rotating basis based on business needs and operational requirements. Employees scheduled for these shifts receive the applicable delivery rate. Employees who are not scheduled for delivery shifts will work as Budtenders at the standard Budtender rate.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Guide customers through our iPad kiosk ordering system.
- Verify government-issued ID and follow all AGCO compliance requirements.
- Process transactions accurately using our Greenline POS system.
- Prepare and package customer orders.
- Receive, restock, and organize inventory.
- Complete daily inventory audits and maintain store cleanliness.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Employees assigned to delivery shifts will also complete customer deliveries in accordance with company policies and AGCO regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Valid CannSell Certification (or willing to obtain before your start date).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Retail or customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Comfortable using technology, including iPads.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid Ontario G driver's licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle are considered an asset for employees interested in delivery opportunities.
Availability
- Evening availability is required.
- Weekend availability is mandatory. Employees are scheduled on a rotating basis, so you will not necessarily work every weekend, but weekend availability is required.
