Design Engineer (Water/Wastewater)
Location: Mississauga
Salary$120,000-$150,000 (based on experience)
About the Opportunity:
We have partnered with an established Engineering Consulting Firm who is looking to add a Design Engineer to their growing team. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity, and will allow the ideal candidate to demonstrate their experience designing linear water/wastewater infrastructure.
Responsibilities:

Support the delivery of upcoming projects, planning studies and designs.

Design conveyance systems for municipal projects including force mains, storm sewers, and sanitary sewers.

Ensure current projects remain on budget and on track.

Work in conjunction with municipal, utilities, and approval agencies to ensure consistent communication wit all parties.

Collaborate with Project Managers, and other departments as required.

Assist field staff on construction projects.

Assist with start-up, testing, and commissioning
Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of experience related to the design and construction administration of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

A current and valid Professional Engineer certification (P.Eng.) in Ontario.

Experience with trenchless technologies, and pipeline rehabilitation.

Experience with Ontario Environmental standards and guidelines.

Planning and permitting processes experience.
-
Project management experience with municipal water and sewer projects is an asset.

Valid license, ability to travel and visit projects sites within Ontario.
Technical Skills:-
Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Civil 3D software
