Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance/Housekeeper to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
- Carry out floor care procedures including buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained.
- Assist with painting projects or minor repairs as needed to support facility upkeep.
- Execute industrial cleaning tasks in larger or specialized areas requiring advanced custodial experience or equipment.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repair needs and assisting with basic upkeep tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness logs and safety records while adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
- Perform and assist with Housekeeping duties.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with floor care methods such as buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing.
- Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
- Basic knowledge of residential painting or minor repair work is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Reliable team player with a proactive approach to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
