As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator/Internal Bookkeeper to support our operations across multiple locations.
Position Overview:
As the Office Administrator/Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in managing the financial and administrative tasks that keep our firm running smoothly. Your meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills will ensure accurate bookkeeping and efficient operations for both our locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain detailed bookkeeping for all accounts, including bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and more.
- Prepare and send daily, weekly, monthly, and annual invoices, as well as bi-monthly statements.
- Collect and record payments, issuing payment receipts to clients promptly.
- Travel to Brantford and Simcoe locations once a week to collect payments and make necessary bank deposits.
- Review office bills for accuracy and ensure timely payments for all expenses related to both locations.
- Handle internal payroll for staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with workflow management to optimize office operations and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or office administration, preferably in a public accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to both locations.
