C Valley Paving is seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team.
We operate a large fleet of paving and construction equipment and are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and wants to be part of a strong team environment.
This is a full-time, year-round position with plenty of hours available during the paving season.
Schedule
● Monday to Friday
● 5:00 AM start time
● Overtime available
● Weekend work as required
Equipment You’ll Work On
● Asphalt Pavers
● Skid Steers
● Loaders
● Rollers
● Milling Machines
● Excavators
● Dump Trucks
● Sweepers
● Service Trucks
● Various paving and construction equipment
Responsibilities
● Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, engine, and mechanical issues
● Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
● Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns in the shop and field
● Complete repairs safely and efficiently to minimize downtime
● Maintain accurate service records and work orders
● Work closely with operations and shop management to keep equipment production-ready
Qualifications
● Licensed Mechanic
● Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
● Experience working on heavy equipment and construction equipment
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Positive attitude and strong work ethic
● Valid G Driver’s License
● Welding and fabrication experience is considered an asset
