Gateway Church is seeking a passionate and skilled Technical Director to lead and oversee all aspects of audio, video, lighting, livestream, and IT systems. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment and is excited to use their technical gifts to support impactful ministry.
About the Role
The Technical Director plays a key role in creating excellent, distraction-free worship experiences while building and leading a strong volunteer production team. This individual combine technical expertise with leadership, organization, and a heart for serving others.
You will also contribute creatively to Sunday services and help tell meaningful stories through video and media.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all technical production for weekend services and special events
- Oversee audio, video, lighting, presentation, and livestream systems
- Produce and manage video content for services and digital platforms
- Troubleshoot and maintain AVL and IT systems
- Recruit, train, and lead volunteer tech teams
- Collaborate with pastors, worship leaders, and creative teams
- Manage technical budgets, equipment, and upgrades
What You Bring
- Experience in live production (church experience is a strong asset)
- Strong knowledge of audio systems and working knowledge of video and lighting
- Leadership experience, especially with volunteers
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with ProPresenter, digital consoles, and livestream platforms
- Videography and video editing skills
- Basic IT and networking knowledge

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
