We are seeking employees for our Orchard Host position.
Orchard Host:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Orchard Host to join our team starting in mid-August through to October 31st.
As an Orchard Host, you’ll be the face of our orchard experience — helping visitors, answering questions, guiding them to attractions, and keeping the energy upbeat. Your role is all about ensuring every guest has a safe, smooth, and enjoyable day at the farm. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
This position is required from August 15 to October 31st.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival
- Provide directions and information about orchard activities (picking apples, petting zoo, wagon rides, corn maze, etc.)
- Monitor guest flow and ensure safety in public areas
- Operate admission, inventory, and checkout stations (POS experience is an asset)
- Help maintain cleanliness in public spaces (washrooms, picnic spots, farm marketplace)
- Assist with lineups, signage, and guest traffic on busy days
- Support team members during events or special days
Skills
- Friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Comfortable being on your feet outdoors for long periods
- Ability to work in a team and take initiative
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or tourism is an asset
- Must be available weekends and holidays during the fall season
