All Choice Rentals is currently looking to add another shop technician to our growing team!
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Assisting with loading/unloading customers
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up to date records of all equipment service and maintenance
- Responsible for taking part in keeping work place clean and organized
- Assists in maintenance of parts inventory
- Maintain good relations with customers, we are a service driven company and interact with customers on a regular basis.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all Equipment – large or small; mobile or stationary under supervision of Head Mechanic
- Repair and Inspection of all equipment as needed, under supervision of Head Mechanic
- Tools used in repair and maintenance will be used safely and within the use(s) it was intended for
- Advise Management any time major deficiencies are noted in equipment, tools, procedures or policies
- May be asked to drive/transport/hotshot parts or equipment to customer location(s)
- Maintains personal training/certification, as needed, for this position
- Will be expected to use PPE, appropriate to each task and report any problems
- Takes part in Safety Meetings and uses Safe Workplace practices
Academic/Educational Requirements:
- Some reading and writing; basic Math skills
- WHMIS/ TDG/ may require H2S and AWP
- May require various orientations for Oil lease access
- May require Standard First Aid
Required Skills/Experience:
- Basic level knowledge of standard tools, methods, materials and practices covering repair and maintenance of a wide range of equipment
- Basic level knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance schedules and programs and how they work
- Ability to perform physical work (Lift/move up to 50lbs unassisted) (Must pass pre-employment physical abilities evaluation)
- Basic level knowledge of inspection procedures of all equipment
- Basic level knowledge of record keeping requirements
- Basic level knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures
- Basic level problem solving
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to read and write, some numeric skills
- Basic organizational skillsWorking Conditions
- Physical demands can be strenuous and demanding; includes lifting, pulling and managing equipment and tools
- Will be exposed to extreme heat and cold at times; must dress accordingly
- Must be able to work with group of shop employees in efficient and safe way
