RNS Health Care Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (“SLP”) to join our dynamic Rehabilitation team. RNS is open to both salaried employee and/or independent contractor models on either a part-time to full-time basis.

As a Speech Language Pathologist for RNS, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages, though our vacancy currently requires an Adult service SLP. You will work closely with individuals with various speech and language challenges, including articulation disorders, language delays, fluency disorders, and voice disorders. Your expertise will contribute significantly to improving the quality of life for our patients and helping them achieve their communication goals.

A Day-to-Day Look at the Role:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' speech and language abilities
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals
- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve speech and language skills
- Work with clients to improve their articulation, fluency, voice, and language abilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including doctors, educators, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate clients and their families on speech-related issues and home-based exercises
- Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records
- Stay updated on the latest research and advances in speech therapy to enhance treatment approaches
What you will need to Succeed:
- Masters Level Degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology
- Registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Certification with Speech-Language Audiology (SAC) is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients and their families
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help individuals overcome challenges
- Knowledge of assistive technology and alternative communication methods is a plus
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and availability of a motor vehicle are required with Proof of Auto Insurance
