We are currently seeking a Division Manager to join our Building Structures Division to work out of our Burlington office.
The Division Manager is primarily responsible for developing, implementing and driving the business plan for the division, while providing leadership and management of all business aspects within a division, including but not limited to achievement of revenue targets, staff management and development, and management of financial responsibilities. The Division Manager reports to the Sector Director.

Responsibilities
· Develop, implement, and monitor divisional business plans and budgets, including oversight of Work In Progress (WIP), invoicing and Accounts Receivable.
· Monitor and report on financial performance, including revenue, gross margin, and net income.
· Oversee the design and delivery of structural engineering projects (institutional, commercial, industrial, and multi-residential), ensuring quality, consistency, and client satisfaction.
· Provide technical oversight and input on projects to support consistent standards and high-quality outcomes.
· Mentor and coach team members, including conducting mid-year and annual performance reviews.
· Manage divisional staffing requirements, including recruitment, performance management, promotions, leave approvals, training and development, and compensation reviews.
· Foster and maintain strong client relationships while supporting new business development opportunities.
· Contribute to proposal preparation and broader business development initiatives.
· Collaborate with Technical Practice Leaders and other Division Managers to drive technical excellence, project management consistency, and alignment across the company.
· Monitor team utilization and proactively address productivity and resourcing gaps.
· Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures within the division, and address issues as required.
· Other related duties, as needed or assigned.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
· Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
· Minimum 8 years of progressive experience within a consulting engineering environment.
· Demonstrated leadership capability, with a strong focus on business processes and the ability to motivate, coach, and develop staff.
· Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
· In-depth knowledge of structural building design, the Ontario Building Code, permitting processes, and applicable regulations and standards.
· Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
· High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
· Strong analytical skills, with sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and team members.

Salary Range
· $130,000 - $170,000 per year base salary, plus benefits
Annual Salary will be based on individual education, qualifications, and relevant work experience.
