Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner/Cashier to maintain cleanliness and order within our facility. This role involves performing cleaning duties, handling basic cashier responsibilities, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on providing excellent service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance to ensure the environment remains safe and functional
- Operate cleaning equipment and tools efficiently and safely
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure availability of cleaning materials and restroom essentials
- Handle cashier duties such as processing transactions accurately and providing friendly customer service
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, offices, and other designated spaces
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow established safety protocols and cleaning procedures to ensure compliance with health standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Basic cashier skills with the ability to handle transactions accurately
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
