Our Specialized Services Therapy Team provides Occupational therapy, Speech therapy, Physiotherapy and Behavior support services to children who have special needs and their family.
We are looking for a caring, motivated, high energy and enthusiastic person to fill the Therapy Assistant role. This job entails working 1 on 1 with a child in the child’s home and in the community.
This is for a Part Time positions for 3 to 4 clients, based in the SOUTH of Calgary.
- Experience working with children with special needs preferred
- Education and/or experience in early childhood development / rehab / health care
- Must have own vehicle & be willing to drive to and from clients home.
- Must have up-to-date First Aide & CPR Certificate.
- Must have current Criminal/Vulnerable Person check.
- Must be able to physically lift 50lbs, play and assist with toileting needs.
Job Type: Part Time (30 to 32 hours per week with the potential for more hours in the near future).
