We’re Lassing Dibben Consulting Engineers Ltd. ( , an award-winning firm of diverse engineers, technicians and technologists specializing in bulk material handling. We design custom solutions for manufacturers, contractors, government agencies, mining companies and developers.

Now, we’re looking for a new Administrative Assistant to join our team. We’re looking for you.

Administrative Assistant

Your primary goal in this role is to coordinate the flow of project documentation in and out of the company. We have several projects on the go at any given time, involving multiple internal and external parties. You’ll handle purchase orders, specification documents, and drawings, and take care to double check all the details to ensure accuracy. You’ll save colleagues and clients from the little mistakes that cause big headaches.

You’ll also oversee a wide variety of administrative tasks from scheduling meetings, to supporting payroll, answering phones, ordering lunches and so much more. You’re perfect for this role because you’re able to run with tasks independently, while proactively seeking out new ways for us to improve our administrative processes.

You’ll have a wide view of our office’s operations, so we’ll count on you to help us streamline the ways we work. With your unparalleled attention to detail and follow-through, you’ll stay on top business needs and help us optimize our operations.

The Details

This is a full-time, permanent role working in our Batawa office, just outside Trenton and close to the beautiful Trent River. Our office hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Salary will be $40,000-$50,000 commensurate with experience. We also offer health and disability benefits, vacation, group RRSP plan and a profit-sharing program that grows with your level of responsibility.


  • Experience working in an administrative role or in project coordination
  • Experience communicating with clients and/or providing customer service either over the phone or in person
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (for email, spreadsheets etc), and Microsoft Project (for project coordination/administration)
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
  • Post-secondary education completed
  • Experience supporting Payroll is considered an asset
