Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Probation Wage: $21.30
Probation Completion Wage: $21.77
One Year Wage: $23.13
Day Shift: Monday to Friday: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday: 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Night Shift: Sunday evening to Friday morning: 10:00pm - 6:30am
**Must be flexible to work all shifts. Determined shifts are straight shifts**
General Labourer - Key Responsibilities
KEY Responsibilities:
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (or the “Act”) and the regulations; use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that Mott requires to be used or worn; report to the Supervisor the absence or defect in any equipment or protective device of which the worker is aware and which may endanger themselves or another worker; and report to the Supervisor any contravention of the Act or the regulations or the existence of any hazard of which the worker is aware
- Assist positions such as machine operator, assembler or welder
- Perform cleaning and organizing duties
- Retrieve and transport components and product between departments using manual material handing devices
- Hang product on the coating line
- Take off product from the coating line
- Peel paper off of stainless steel pieces
- Perform other duties as required
Skills & Experience:
- Ability to work with power hand tools effectively (i.e. cordless drill)
- Attention to detail is critical
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Quality oriented
- Physically fit for heavy lifting of >35 lbs
