Overview:
Monitor guest and employee activities to ensure adherence to expectations, procedures, legislation/laws.
Responsibilities:
Monitor guest and employee activities to ensure adherence to expectations, procedures, legislation/laws
Monitor surveillance systems
Monitor data mining program e-connect
Monitor and investigate Accesso online orders via the Accertify program
Investigate internal incidents and work with Loss Prevention Management on investigations
Liaise with other departments to collect and investigate documents related to an incident
Photograph/videotape and collect information pertaining to an incident or investigation
Assist Safety Department with investigations on reported incidents
Complete reports and follow-up in a timely manner as required
Documentation/filing as required with knowledge for use in Court proceedings and attend Court as required
Prepare an incident review to Loss Prevention Management
Use park computers and programs to input data
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Must be able to adapt to working in a team-oriented environment
Qualifications:
Previous experience in Security at Canada’s Wonderland an asset
Graduate of a post-secondary Law Enforcement program is an asset
Possess a valid Ontario Security Guard license, driver’s license and First Aid/CPR certificates
Possess excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of current investigative techniques
Proven Leadership abilities a must and prior Supervisory experience is an asset
Show the ability to deal with stressful situations in a professional, calm patient and positive manner
Must have reliable transportation, outside of public transit
Possess a valid Ontario Security Guard license, driver’s license and First Aid/CPR certificates
Previous park experience and knowledge of POS systems is an asset
Must provide own CSA approved steel toed black boots
Be available to work a variety of rotating flexible shifts, including midnights, on weekends and holidays
