Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. BONUS PAY FOR CHRYSLER TRAINED TECHS.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring vehicles are serviced to the highest standards.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and alignment services.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
- Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to ensure proper functionality of safety features.
- Provide accurate auto estimating for repairs and services needed on vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle status, repair needs, and service recommendations.
Skills
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform automotive diagnostics efficiently.
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair and welding techniques is a plus.
- Experience working with GM vehicles is advantageous.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to understand and work with automotive service manuals and schematics.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients.
