Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Class One Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a tridrive dump truck and pup,preferance to a driver with experience This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and excellent service. Candidates with experience in forklift operation, automotive repair, or heavy equipment operation will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class One trucks for the transportation of freight, heavy equipment, and other cargo
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on trucks and equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties
- Assist in the operation of heavy machinery or automotive repair tasks when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class One commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields
- Knowledge of forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards for commercial drivers
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively for timely deliveries
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
