Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for planning, directing, and optimizing all manufacturing engineering activities related to processes, tools, production start-up, and continuous improvement at the plant. He/she is responsible for managing, mobilizing, and developing the skills of his/her team to ensure a high level of technical expertise, innovation, and operational efficiency.
He/she ensures the performance, reliability, and safety of production systems, while steering the sustainable development of manufacturing capabilities. Through his/her leadership and strategic vision, he/she contributes directly to the achievement of the organization's operational, financial, and growth objectives.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

Participate and collaborate with the subsidiary's management committee in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the strategic plan.

Define and deploy the manufacturing engineering strategy in line with the company's guidelines in order to achieve our organizational objectives.

Act as a coach in the skills development process for your team members.

Ensure the seamless manufacturing integration of products and tools with the organizational product development process (PDP).

Ensure the technical feasibility of industrial development and process optimization projects.

Define and adapt our manufacturing processes for new products.

Manage the support and production team in terms of methods, tools, quality, and industrial engineering.

Monitor the action plans of the project managers in your team according to the various deliverables (“gates”)

Ensure compliance and improvement of the quality management system to meet standards and customer requirements

Bachelor's degree in operations management, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering

Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Significant experience in team management and large-scale project management
