Sitting on the north arm of the Fraser River, YUE'R Beauty & Wellness is a fast growing wellness studio that provides various treatments for overall well-being. We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Massage Therapist (Non RMT) to join our wellness team. In this role, you will provide professional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support overall well-being for our clients. Your enthusiasm and commitment to customer care will help create a welcoming environment where clients feel valued and cared for. Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs, focusing on relaxation, pain relief, or injury recovery
- Maintain a thorough understanding of various massage techniques and adapt treatments accordingly
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their concerns, preferences, and health conditions before each session
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals when necessary
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and clinic productivity
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided, client feedback, and progress notes for future reference
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to body anatomy and massage therapy practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and create a positive client experience
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment plans and address client questions or concerns
- Ability to listen attentively to understand individual client needs and customize treatments accordingly
