Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sign Installer to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and removing various types of signage across different locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, precision, and customer satisfaction. Prior experience in sign installation or related trades is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in construction, carpentry, or visual communication industries.
Duties
- Install new signage on buildings, streets, or other designated areas following provided specifications and safety standards
- Remove or replace existing signs with care to prevent damage
- Measure and mark installation sites accurately to ensure proper placement and alignment
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes
- Ensure all signage is securely mounted and meets local codes and regulations
- Conduct routine inspections of installed signs to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, or property owners to confirm installation details and address any issues promptly
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in sign installation, construction, carpentry, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Ability to lift heavy signs and equipment safely (up to 50 pounds)
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders or scaffolding when necessary
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred for site travel responsibilities
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and follow safety guidelines at all times
Pay: $17.65-$20.00 per hour
