One of our clients is looking to add a Shipper/Receiver to their team. They want someone who's a quick learner, is detail-oriented, and thrives in an environment that provides the right balance of guidance and autonomy. If you are highly motivated, enjoy hands-on work, and have exceptional organizational skills, this is the role for you.

As their next Shipper/Receiver, you will ensure operations run smoothly and will be responsible for accurately storing, shipping, and receiving inventory at the warehouse. You will ensure adequate packing and organization of items as they are shipped out and received.

What you will do

Manage equipment. You will:
Monitor shipments and deliveries
Ensure all inventory coming in and out is correct and undamaged
Pull inventory from shelving when needed
Price, organize, and store all equipment
Use our shipping software to accurately enter and keep track of all inventory in the warehouse

Maintenance. You will:
Ensure a clean and organized workspace for efficiency and safety
Conduct necessary maintenance on equipment so that it may be reused; this could be repairs and/or cleaning of the equipment

Customer Experience and Communication. You will:
Interact with coworkers, carriers, and customers from time to time, exhibiting friendly, respectful, and empathetic interactions

What you bring

The education and experience. You have a high school diploma and ideally, have 1 or more years of experience working in a warehouse environment. Previous experience using a shipping software is an asset.
The communication skills. You can communicate clearly through verbal and written means. You are someone who strives to provide excellent service to the carriers, co-workers, and customers you work with.
The technical ability. You are skilled with typical warehouse tools and are not afraid to make adjustments, repairs, or disassemble equipment as needed.
Additional Must Have Requirements. You have a clean driving abstract and are capable of lifting fifty plus (50+) pounds.
