Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils, ensuring a smooth and hygienic operation in a fast-paced food service environment. This role is essential for supporting the overall dining experience and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients
- Support kitchen staff in food handling and basic food service activities when required
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with health regulations
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen environment
- Restock supplies such as clean dishes, utensils, and cookware to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications
- Must be available weekends, evenings and holidays
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
