Process Assistant – Industrial Wastewater Treatment

Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and safety-focused Process Assistant to support operations at an industrial wastewater treatment facility.
Responsibilities
- Pump and transfer wastewater from treatment tanks.
- Perform manual bulk chemical additions according to procedures.
- Monitor and operate wastewater treatment equipment.
- Assist with wastewater treatment processes from electroplating operations.
- Monitor chemical levels and process conditions.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues.
- Follow environmental regulations and safety guidelines.
- Handle hazardous chemicals safely while wearing required PPE.
- Operate a forklift to move materials and chemicals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform hands-on industrial work and be willing to get dirty when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in plating, wastewater treatment, or a related industrial environment – REQUIRED.
- Good understanding of chemistry and chemical processes.
- Experience handling chemicals in an industrial environment.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work safely with hazardous materials.
- Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn.
- Ability to wear PPE and follow all safety procedures.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on industrial environment.
Important: Candidates must have at least 1 year of relevant plating or wastewater treatment experience.
Pay: $22.00 per hour
