Representing over 2,800 REALTORS® in Manitoba, The Manitoba Real Estate Association Inc. (MREA) seeks a senior executive assistant with strong administrative skills. The senior executive assistant will report to the CEO and have significant experience supporting leadership in a corporate environment.
This role is the primary support internally and externally on all matters pertaining to the CEO through administration, project coordination, research, and meeting planning. The senior executive assistant will liaise with the board of directors and senior management team, ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards and regulatory frameworks.
The successful candidate will excel at assembling and coordinating meeting packages, preparing and distributing agendas and minutes of board and committee meetings, following up on action items arising from meetings, preparing correspondence and reports, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel requirements, coordinating events, and performing other duties as assigned from time to time.
The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. A demonstrated ability and willingness to multitask, manage complex schedules, and meet changing deadlines is essential to the position. Sensitivity to confidential matters and a high level of professionalism, tact, and diplomacy are paramount.

- Proficient business administration experience in a senior role supporting leadership in an organization.
- Demonstrated track record of taking corporate minutes, knowledge of standard meeting procedures, and familiarity with Robert’s Rules of Order.
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Professional corporate communications skills, including a clear and concise writing ability requiring minimal editing.
- Strong interpersonal skills leading to effective working relationships with staff, individuals, stakeholders, and interest groups.
- Knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe, with a willingness to learn new technology associated with assigned work tasks.
- A comprehensive knowledge of customer service theory and practices, and highly effective at proactive problem-solving.
- Experience working with an industry association and not-for-profits is an asset.
